They are slowly moving towards card but no harm in having a bit if cash in your wallet/purse.

We can provide post or pre accommodation but only at the hotels that the tour starts and finishes.

As experienced travellers we highly recommend the less you bring the better as it gives you more room to buy souvenirs or extend your wardrobe with new clothes!
You should try and aim for no more than 20kg as this makes it easier for you to travel with and getting on and off transport. For a full list of what we suggest you should pack, take a look at our blog post: What should I pack for Bali? -
With a Duo Travel tour just pack like your normal holiday essentials such as suncream, nice evening wear Swimwear etc. but please bring fully closed shoes as if you are doing our 15- or 17-day tour, you will be hiking up an active volcano. We say this as one of our team members decide to do it with flip flops, we can assure you he regretted it :).

You will be able to do laundry throughout the tour all accommodations offer laundry services however, we highly recommend doing your laundry with smaller local services as it is financially better for you and them as you are financially helping more locals within the Balinese communities.
